Exposed: 70% of Gel Nail Polishes Carry Hidden Carcinogens!

Christmas parties are coming one after another, and of course, you want to look stunning, so you get a full set of beautiful gel nails! Upon counting, it's already been a year since you last saw your natural nails. But could gel nails impact your health?

The Consumer Council recently tested 25 samples of gel nail polish, and found that more than 65% of the samples contained substances banned in the EU due to potential carcinogenic risk. Additionally, all samples were found to contain the organic solvent toluene, which can cause headaches, irritate the respiratory tract, eyes, and skin, etc., and in severe cases, may affect the liver, the nervous system, and the development of the fetus.

So what if you really want a full set of gorgeous gel nails before Christmas? Remember to pay attention to the ingredients when choosing gel nail polish, and avoid products that contain substances banned in the EU and allergens. Ensure good ventilation when getting gel nails and let your nails rest for a while every 2-3 months.
